B&B Summer Adventure 4 - Victoria, B.C.

We try to go on a trip every year for our anniversary.  This year we went to Victoria, B.C.  and had a great time! It is a beautiful place and I can't wait to go back.  We rode the Clipper from Seattle to Victoria and it only took about 2.5 hours.  I'd definitely do it again.  Here's some pictures of our time there:

Wedding anniversary

Can it really be 3 years since we said our vows?  It doesn't seem like nearly that long.  We purposely had our wedding during the same week of our dating anniversary - so we've been married for 3 years and together for 6.  I have to say the past 3 years have been infinitely better than the first!  Not that the first three were bad - but now we are together constantly and I will never do the long distance relationship again!  We have so much fun together and I could not imagine my life without my incredible husband.  I love you, Brent!  Here's to many more years and adventures to come.

Callie is 17!

(Callie and her cute boyfriend David)
My sister Callie shares Shelby's birthday - I couldn't have a birthday post for my dog and not mention my sister!  Happy 17th, Callie.  Can't believe you're THAT old!

Shelby is 3!

Our furbaby turned 3 years old today (or 21 in dog years).  She was treated to an ice cream sunday (dairy free, of course!  I don't enjoy cleaning diarrhea!)  and some new toys.  Can't believe we've had her for 3 years.  She was 6 pounds when we got her.  Now she's our giant 75 pound baby.

B&B Summer Adventure 3 - Louisiana

Our quick trip to Louisiana was great!  We were able to see mostly all of my family on both my dad and mom's side.  The purpose of the trip was to be at my cousin Kacie's wedding (on my dad's side).  The wedding was beautiful, the food was awesome, and the band was so much fun!  We're so glad we went.  We were also able to spend a day with my cousin Robyn, her husband Ben, and their adorable daughter Andi. We went to New Orleans and although the trip ended with a trip to urgent care for poor miss Andi's rash, it was so much fun.  We stayed with my dad's parents for a couple of nights and enjoyed being back in the town where I lived sooo long ago.  Here's some pictures from the trip:

Arizona part 3: Grand Canyon

So this is what the Grand Canyon looks like on a foggy day.

luckily on our hike it cleared up

Arizona part 2: Sedona

Arizona

Arizona part 1: Walnut Canyon

I went to Arizona with a few coworkers for the annual Applied Behavior Analysis conference in Phoenix. We left a couple of days early to explore the area. We flew into Flagstaff and Walnut Canyon was our first stop. The cliff dwellings of the Hopi Indians were amazing!
