A Day at the Beach

We currently live a mile from the grassy beaches of Lake Washington.  It's a change from the sandy beaches of the Puget Sound near our old place, but I'm so glad we're still close to some water!  On Sunday it was niiiiice.  We haven't seen sun in so long.  We packed up some lunches and headed to Matthew's beach.
Mister Man is figuring out how to walk in grass!

 We're still pretty wobbly

Ryland heard the ice cream truck drive up and was instantly excited.  He's never seen one before - it must be innate.

 Yum, a creamsicle.

 Ry-guy loves food.

After playing on the beach for awhile, we made our way to the park.  Ryland let me swing with him.

and then dad helped him climb on the big playstructure

He loved to walk back and forth over this bridge

Brent got stuck in this slide.

 Looking like a big kid!

On our way home we picked up slurpees.  Brent can't pass a 7-11 on a sunny day without buying one.

 Ry wanted a taste

and then there was NO going back.

See this tantrum?  Look what's sitting on top of the washer.  He wants more!
